Abstract

ABSTRAK


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui : 1) identitas umum guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh, 2) pengembangan diri guru georafi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh, 3) publikasi ilmiah guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh, 4) karya inovatif guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen dan wawancara singkat, serta untuk pengolahan data menggunakan analisis persentase. Teknik pengumpulan data  pada penelitian ini melalui  angket dan wawancara tidak terstruktur yang diberikan kepada seluruh guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan 1) Identitas umum guru  geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh rata-rata pendidikan terakhirnya adalah S1 (86,7%), rata-rata lama mengajarnya dalam rentang waktu 0-5 tahun  (46,7%), rata-rata status kepegawaiannya adalah PNS (46,7%), rata-rata pangkat/golongannya adalah pembina/IV a (26,6%) dan rata-rata tahun sertifikasinya pada tahun 2008 (20%). 2) Pengembangan diri guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh terdiri dari pendidikan pasca sertifikasi (13,3%), pelatihan yang diikuti selama tahun 2013-2018 (33,3%) dan lokakarya/seminar yang diikuti selama   tahun 2013-2018 (40%). 3) Publikasi ilmiah guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh  berdasarkan karya tulis hasil penelitian selama tahun 2013-2018 (0%), tulisan ilmiah populer selam tahun 2013-2018 (6,6%) dan  buku teks, modul dan diktat pembelajaran selam tahun 2013-2018 (6,6%). 4) Karya inovatif guru geografi SMA di Kota Payakumbuh  selama tahun 2013-2018 (0%).

ABSTRACT


This research aims to determine: 1) general identity of senior high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City, 2) self-development of senior high school georaphic teachers in Payakumbuh City, 3) scientific publications of senior high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City, 4) innovative work of senior high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach.  For data collection using instruments and short interviews, and for data processing using percentage analysis.  Data collection techniques in this study through questionnaires and unstructured interviews given to all high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) The general identity of high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh, the average last education is S1 (86.7%), the average length of teaching is in the span of 0-5 years (46.7%),  The average employment status is PNS (46.7%), the average rank / class is coach / IV a (57.1%) and the average year of certification is in 2008 (37.5%).  2) Self-development of high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City consists of post-certification education (25%), training that was followed during 2013-2018 (33.3%) and workshops / seminars that were attended during 2013-2018 (40%).  3) Scientific publications for high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City based on research papers during 2013-2018 (0%), popular scientific writings during 2013-2018 (6.6%) and textbooks, modules and learning dictates for 2013  -2018 (6.6%).  4) Innovative work of high school geography teachers in Payakumbuh City during 2013-2018 (0%).
