KAJIAN PSIKOLOGIS PENGGUNA DOMPET ELEKTRONIK DI KOTA JAMBI

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang penggunaan dompet elektronik. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Jambi yang menggunakan maupun yang tidak menggunakan dompet elektronik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode indepth inteview. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sikap masyarakat tentang penggunaan dompet elektronik memberikan sikap positif, dimana mereka mendukung dompet elektronik yang sangat membantu (2) minat masyarakat untuk menggunakan dompet elektronik sudah terbukti dari hasil wawancara 17 responden yang sudah berminat menggunakan dompet elektronik (3) Masyarakat sudah memahami penggunaan nya serta manfaat nya karena dompet elektronik lebih praktis dan efisien sehingga masyarakat termotivasi untuk menggunakan dompet elektronik (4) harapan masyarakat terhadap penyelenggara dompet elektronik yaitu meningkatkan sosialiasasi kepada masyarakat tentang kemudahan penggunaan serta manfaat yang di dapat dari dompet elektronik sehingga masyarakat lebih tertarik untuk menggunakaan nya.

ABSTRACT

The purpose this research is to find out the public perception of the use of electronic wallet. The informant in this research is the citizen of Jambi as a electronic wallet user or not. Data collection techniques by using indepth interview to 17 informant with different professions and ages background. The analysis technique by using descriptive qualitative method. The result showed (1) Attitude of society towards the use of electronic wallet is positive, they support it because it very helpful. (2) the public interest to use electronic wallet has been proven from interviews 17 informants who were interested in using electronic wallet. (3) The society already understand the usage and benefits of it because using electronic wallet is more practical and efficient so the people are motivated to use electronic wallet. (4) The society hope the operator of electronic wallet ro increase socialization to the public about the easiness using it and the benefits so people are more interesed to using it.
