Abstrak

ABSTRACT


          This study discusses how the human development index in three villages in the Koto Tangah District based on the distance of the village to the service center (District). Batang Kabung Ganting Sub-District as a sub-district close to the service center (Sub-district), Sub-district Bungo Pasang as the mid-sub-district towards the service center (Sub-district), Sub-district Lubuk Minturun Sei Lareh as a sub-district far from the service center (Sub-district). The purpose of this study was to determine the health index, education index, economic index, and human development index in Batang Kabung ganting, Bungo Pasang and Lubuk Minturun Sei Lareh.


          This type of research is a combination of concurrent transformative strategy model research that combines primary and secondary data. The individual samples of this study were 39 people in Batang Kabung Ganting sub-district, 35 people in Bungo pasang sub-district, and 26 people in Lubuk Minturun Sei Lareh sub-district. There are 2 data collected primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from structured interview data collection techniques. While secondary data obtained from documentation techniques.


          Based on the results of research conducted it can be concluded that the health index and economic index in the three villages above have the same index. However, the education index in the three villages above shows slightly different figures. But it doesn't really show a significant difference. So that the final calculation of the human development index in the three Sub-district above produces the same index. This means that there is no difference in distance between the three sub-district to the service center. There are no significant differences between the three sub-district in health, education and economic facilities. There are no significant differences between the three sub-district in health, education and economic services.
