Abstract
This study aims to (1) determine the relationship between learning interest and geography learning (2) determine the relationship between the number of study hours and geography learning (3) determine the relationship between interest in learning and the number geography study hours on geography learning outcomes in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Ulu Barumun.The type of research used is correlational quantitative research. the subjects in this study were students of class XI Social Sciences in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling as many as 33 respondents. Data analysis used a Likert scale using Microsoft Excel assisted by the IBM SPSS 21 program to process data. The results obtained by this study include: (1) there is a relationship between learning interest and geography learning outcomes, namely 0.60 with strong categorization. (2) there is a relationship between the number of study hours and the results of learning geography, namely 0.43 with moderate categorization. (3) there is a relationship between learning interest and the number of study hours on geography learning outcomes, namely 0.663 with very strong categorization.
