POTENSI MATA AIR DI JORONG SUNGAI ANGEK NAGARI SIMARASOK KECAMATAN BASO KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstrak

This study aims to determine :1)Spring discharge in the Jorong Sungai Angek Nagari Simarasok Kecamatan Baso 2) physical spring quality (color,odor, teste, TDS and turbidity, chemistry (pH and hardness) and biology ( E.coli).

                This type of research includes descriptive research by using survey methods that aim to desrribe the situation or event precisely in the field. Population and sample of three spring in the Jorong Sungai Angek Nagari Simarasok. Data collection uses the bucket method for measurement of discharge, laboratory tests and direct testing at the research site.

The results of this study found a spring discharge in the Jorong Sungai Angek with an amount of 254.880 liter/day and can meet the domestic need of the population or said to be surplus. The quality of physical Langkuang Sawuak polluted on turbidity and bilogicak parameters. The quality of springs in Sawah Towaka is not polluted so it can be consumed. While the chemical quality of water in all samples is safe, So it can be consumed.
