Abstrak

Teacher profile is a personal picture of the teacher as a professional educator. Things to be researched about education levels, certification, teaching experience, and the achievements and achievements of the teacher in carrying out their duties and functions as professional educators. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the general profile and identity, self-development that is followed, scientific publications that are published and innovative works produced by State High School (SMA) geography teachers in Limapuluhkota Regency which amounted to 30 people in the period 2013-2018. This research uses quantitative descriptive method.. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded (1) The percentage of the majority of the profile and general identity geography teachers of the state high school Limapuluhkota regency namely non-civil servant status (63%), does not have rank/class(63%), the majority of teachers of rank/counselir class/IVa(17%), last education S1(97%), length of teaching experience span of 0-5 years(54%), teachers not yet certified(70%), the majority of certification years 2010 and 2015. (2) The percentage of teachers who participate in self-development activities is low, which consists of post-certification education(30%), training activities(33%), activities as resource persons/speakers(7%), seminar/workshop activities(37%). The percentage of teachers who publish scientific papers in the field of education is low, namely the publication of scientific papers(3%), publication of popular articles(0%), and publication of text books/modules(3%). Teachers innovative work is low, which has a percentage of 3%.
