Abstrak

This study aims to determine the performance of high school Geography teachers in South Solok Regency in terms of scientific publications, innovative works, and teacher self-development in the last 5 years. The following research uses descriptive research through a quantitative approach, the sample for this study consisted of 21 Geography teachers in Solok Selatan District, sample selection using the total sampling method, wherein the research sample used the entire total population. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires in the form of a list of questions given to all high school Geography teachers in South Solok Regency. Based on the results of this study it was concluded 1) The performance of high school Geography teachers in South Solok Regency was reviewed through scientific publications in the last 5 years where based on reports of written work in the field of education and popular scientific writing in the field of formal education and learning in the category of unfavorable with the percentage 0% and the publication of textbooks and modules in the category is not good with a percentage of 4.7%. 2) The performance of high school Geography teachers in South Solok Regency is reviewed from the innovative work in the last 5 years based on the Development of Learning Media, Development of Arts in Learning, and Development of Learning Methods in the unfavorable category with a percentage of 9.5%. 3) the performance of high school Geography teachers in South Solok Regency in terms of self-improvement in the last 5 years in the unfavorable category based on the post-certification development percentage of 9.5%, the training that followed had a percentage of 19%, based on the activities of resource persons / speakers / instructors has a percentage of 4.7%, and based on the activities of the Workshop has a percentage of 19%.
