Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the profile data of high school geography teachers in Padang Pariaman Regency which includes, 1) the teacher's general identity, 2) teacher self-development, 3) scientific publications 4) innovative work produced by teachers. This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach, the sample in this study consisted of 48 geography teachers in Padang Pariaman District, the sample selection was done by the total sampling method, which uses the entire total population as a research sample. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or questionnaire given to all geography teachers. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded 1) The condition of the general identity of teachers consisting of the rank / group of the majority namely IVA (44.11%), the last education majority S1 (93.7%), the majority of universities UNP (54.16%), Old teaching majority is in the range of 31-35 years (27.08%), employment status of the majority of civil servants (70.83%), majority certification year is 2008 (26.66%). 2) Teacher self-development consisting of post-certification education with a percentage (13.33%), training attended during 2013 - 2018 with a percentage (33.33%), seminar activities as resource persons with a percentage (4.16%), workshop activities with a percentage (12.5%). 3) Teacher scientific publications based on the results of research reports in the field of education (7%), based on scientific writing (0%), and based on textbook publications (2%). 4) The innovative work of high school geography teachers in Padang Pariaman district with a percentage of 4%.
