Analisis Persepsi dan Kapasitas Adaptif Petani Sawah terhadap Perubahan Iklim di Kabupaten Maros Statistical Evaluation of Local Farmers' Perceptions and Adaptive Capacity

Abstract
This study aims to assess the perceptions and adaptive capacities of rice farmers in responding to climate change in Maros Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings reveal that most rice farmers in Maros Regency have a positive perception of climate change, with an average perception score of 48.080, indicating a high level of awareness regarding its impacts. Furthermore, the farmers demonstrate a good level of adaptive capacity, with an average score of 46.353, reflecting their ability to adjust to changing climatic conditions. Overall, the study concludes that rice farmers in Maros Regency possess positive perceptions, sufficient adaptive capacities, and predominantly adopt adaptation strategies that align with local conditions. Factors such as education, access to information, farming experience, and financial resources significantly influence their perceptions and adaptive capacities.
