The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was all SMA Penggerak&nbsp; in Padang City for the 2021/2022 school year. The sampling technique used was total sampling, the subjects in this study were all teachers who taught Geography class 10/phase E as many as 6 people from 5 schools. Data collection techniques used in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale, interviews and documentation. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The informants in the study were three geography teachers, the principal, and representatives of infrastructure as providers of learning resources at SMA Negeri 1 Baso, Agam Regency, as well as three students, namely representatives from class X, XI, and XII. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation/, and drawing conclusions. This research is an experimental research (Quasi Experiment Design) with pretest posttest control group design. Using a quantitative approach. Sampling using purposive sampling. The sample in this study was class X IPS as the experimental class, totaling 19 people and class X IPK as the control class, totaling 18 people. The research instruments were in the form of learning achievement tests and study participation observation sheets. The results showed that the average pretest score for the experimental class was 45.90 and that for the control class was 48.14. Then the posttest value of the experimental class was 76.31 and that of the control class was 56.48. So that the N-Gain score for the experimental class was 0.56 which was in the medium criteria and for the control class the N-Gain score was 0.16 which was in the low criteria. So this shows that the N-Gain score of the experimental class is greater than the control class. The results of the data recap were processed using an experimental class system and a control class with pretest and posttest. The approach used is a quarsi experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control design. The samples taken in this study were 60 students using a random sampling technique in class XI IPS 1 and class XI IPS 2. The data analysis method used in this study was carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS 26 applications. Data collection techniques were in the form of documentation, tests learning outcomes, and questionnaires. From processing the results of the posttest experimental class, the average learning result is quite high, namely 72 compared to the control class with an average learning result of 66. For the N-gain test, students in the experimental class get a percentage of 56% (quite effective) while in the control class only get a percentage of 51% (less effective). Sampling was taken using purposive sampling technique, namely class X IPS 1 with a total of 35 people as the experimental class and class X IPS 2 with a total of 30 people as the control class. The research instrument was in the form of multiple choice test questions (pretest-posttest). Data collection techniques used tests, observations and documentation which were analyzed using the Normality test, Homogeneity test, Z test and Normalized Gain test. The average pretest for the experimental class was 44.57 while the control class was 45.07 with a difference of 0.50. The average&nbsp;</em><em>posttest for the experimental class was 81.89 while for the control class it was 72.53 with a difference of 9.36 meaning that the learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher than the control class. The Z test shows Z<sub>count</sub>≥Z<sub>table</sub>=3.34≥1.96 then H<sub>0</sub> is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of the application of the Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model on learning outcomes. The normalized gain test for the experimental class is 0.71 with the criteria for a high increase, while the control class is 0.52 with the criteria for a moderate increase. This research is a mixed method research and was conducted in Koto Tangah District with 12 informants consisting of 4 dropouts, 4 guardians of dropouts, 2 peers, 1 neighbor, and 1 RT head. Technical data analysis in this study used observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Quantitative research results show that 75% of dropouts have a positive self-concept and 25% have a negative self-concept. And for lifestyle 50% very positive, 25% positive, and 25% negative. Meanwhile, the results of qualitative research show that dropouts on average have a negative self-concept where many of them spend more time playing games, and waking up at noon. In addition, they prefer to drop out of school because they are lazy to come to school, lazy to do assignments, and do not like the school rules. Sampling used simple random sampling, namely the sample was taken randomly from the population so as to produce two sample groups for class XI IPS 1, the experimental group and class XI IPS 2, the control group. Student learning outcomes were obtained from the pretest and posttest before after treatment. The data analysis technique uses the t-test and normalized gain test. With research subjects namely class X 4 as the experimental class and class X 7 as the control class. The sampling technique used random sampling technique with a total sample of 193 students. The research instrument was a test of 14 objective questions. The results of this study based on the analysis obtained the average posttest score of 87.9 for the experimental class and 73.3 for the control class. In the experimental class, an increase in knowledge or N-Gain of 0.79 was obtained in the high category. Whereas in the control class, an increase in knowledge or N-Gain of 0.54 was obtained in the medium category.
