PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN JALAN TOL RUAS PADANG - SICINCIN

Abstrak

This study aims to (1) determine the socio-economic conditions of the community around toll road construction. (2) To find out how the public perception of toll road construction.

This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique in this research is by using observation, interview and documentation. The informants involved in this research were Ninik mamak, Wali Nagari Kasang, the Head of Korong Chaniago, Bintungan and the Nagari Kasang community.

The results of this study can be seen that (1) The socio-economic of the community around the toll road construction are relatively homogeneous in terms of livelihoods with the majority being farmers while the level of formal education is low. Meanwhile, the average community income ranges from IDR 500,00 - 4.000.000,00/month. (2) The public has positive and negative perceptions of the construction of the Padang - Sicincin toll road.
