PEMANFAATAN VBSCRIPT DAN MODELBUILDER PADA SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS UNTUK ANALISIS FUNGSI KAWASAN DI KECAMATAN ARGA MAKMUR KABUPATEN BENGKULU UTARA

Abstrak

This research has two objectives, first, to build the ModelBuilder System and the VBScript Programming Language for Regional Function Analysis. Second, testing the development of the ModelBuilder System and the VBScript Programming Language for Regional Function Analysis based on the level of knowledge (familiarity) and usage satisfaction of the ModelBuilder System that has been built. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with the Research and Development method. The sample in this study were students of the Department of Geography at Padang State University, with data collection techniques, namely literature study, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Waterfall design method (Linear Sequential). The results of the study have two conclusions, namely, the construction of the ModelBuilder System and the VBScript Programming Language for Regional Function Analysis can be done properly, efficiently with regard to the speed of analysis, and accurate according to the parameters. Second, testing is carried out through validation of the functions available in ArcGIS with valid results and system testing with samples with results, for system familiarity, the results are never with an average scale of 0.85, for system quality get an average scale of 3.69 and also on the quality of information get an average scale of 3.98 where both of these things are included in the agreed category, and on the satisfaction of the system the users show that system satisfaction has an indication of agreeing with an average scale of 3.89 even though it has not yet reached perfection.
